I taught primary school children before I taught AI how to talk to people. Before that, an LPN at a private medical practice, a graphic designer, a salesperson. None of it was the plan — all of it was the training. The work, always, is translation: meeting someone in the moment they're trying to understand something hard, and finding the words that make it click.

I came to AI from inside the Caribbean, not the Bay Area — and that shapes what I build. The conversation here often centres on what AI might do to us. I'm building toward the version where it does something for us — tutoring children in the English they actually speak, giving small business owners the leverage of a research team, putting a thoughtful coach in the pocket of every Jamaican woman who's ever felt alone in a decision. Different audiences, one mission — make sure the next decade of Caribbean intelligence is built by people who actually live here.
